It will take your rice longer to cook.Do not marinate your steak for much longer than a couple of hours. You don’t want the fibres of the meat to break down for this recipe. You can use your favourite steak whether rib-eye, striploin or tenderloin.

Ingredients
16ouncebeef rib-eye steakcut into 1 inch cubes
3tablespoonsoil
½red onioncut into large chunks
For the Marinade
1tablespoonoyster sauce
2teaspoonsdark soy sauce
2teaspoonsfish sauce
1teaspoonbrown sugar
1clovegarlicfinely grated
For the Dipping Sauce (optional)
1limejuiced
Pinchkosher salt
¼teaspoonfinely ground black pepper
For Serving
1tomatosliced
½cucumbersliced

Instructions
In a medium bowl, add beef and the marinade ingredients. Mix well and let marinate while you prepare the remaining ingredients.
In a small bowl, make the dipping sauce by combining lime juice, salt and pepper. Set aside.
In a wok or large frying pan on high heat, add 2 tablespoons oil, add the beef and let it sear on one side for about a minute. Then shake or stir fry. Let it sear on the other side until desired doneness and remove.
Add more oil if needed, add onion and stir fry for a couple of minutes. Add it to the beef.
Serve on a platter along with tomato and cucumber and dipping sauce on the side.
