After being out of commission for a couple of weeks due to the wretched winter cold/flu, life is finally getting back to normal. I don’t know what happens in your household, but in ours, when mom and kids are sick, life comes to a stand still. Nothing gets done. Nothing moves forward. We sleep. We rest. We take it down a few notches. So thankful, that’s over!
While homebound for weeks, we watched a lot of movies and started reading “The Hobbit.” Since the kids were enjoying the book so much, we ended up watching “Lord of the Beans.” Yes… beans. VeggieTales is a production of cartoon vegetables who reenact parodies from well-known stories to teach meaningful life lessons to children. The lesson in the “Lord of the Beans” was to use your gifts to bless others.
This started me thinking… how am I using my gifts to bless others?
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. ~Ephesians 2:10
What are the gifts God has given me? What does He want me to do with them? Who am I to bless with these gifts?
I wish He would just send me a tweet already.
Love this post. Glad you are all doing better.
Thanks, Beatriz! Appreciate you taking the time to stop by my blog.
Very challenging Flo, your photography brings glory to God and it’s a gift he’s given you.
Thanks so much for your always encouraging words, my friend!
