Fried rice is one of the easiest meals to cook. Using what you already have, it’s going to be delicious and cheap.
We love breakfast for dinner and this fried rice is no exception. Bacon and eggs just go together. I’m using peas but feel free to add your favourite veggies.
I always have bacon in the fridge. It’s the perfect package of meat that I can turn into a meal. But you can use any meat like Chinese sausage, spam, ham, leftover chicken, steak or pork chop.
Generally, I use about 1 teaspoon of soy sauce per cup of rice and often will mix it up with oyster sauce, fish sauce, kecap manis and/or dark soy sauce. Use what you like and the flavour will vary depending on what you put in.
Use what you have, make it your own.
